In standard version of TagFile, there will be a virtual folder whose name is "Mini-Desktop" created automatically after you installed the software.

What you should do is very easy. Just drag your program shortcut, or executable program to this folder. After that, when you want to start a program, type the tag "desk" or "mini" in the Quick Bar, the result will be displayed like this:

Okay, just open or run the item you want by double click them or pressing enter. Of course, you needn't add all the programs to this folder. You can only give them their own tag, and use these tags as a shell command.
